Celebrities: Inspiring College Graduates to Volunteer

Like most people, I will admit that I too follow celebrity news and gossip. Although some may think that there is only scandalous news surrounding celebrities, there is actually a lot more to them. Celebrities are people we can look to for inspiration. They donate part of their earnings each year to support causes and help people all over the world.

A College Graduate's Story: I Volunteered in Kenya

Sometimes, going abroad may not seem feasible; it can seem nearly impossible to actually make it happen. That is why today I want to share a story about a college graduate who made it possible. Megan Brink chose to volunteer in Kenya for 3 months upon graduation and had the experience of a lifetime. I learned about her experience through an interview we had just a couple weeks ago. This is her story.

The other day I was talking to my friend about interviews (more like panicking about them as she tried to tell me to breathe- it would all be ok). Anyway, my friend is someone who has been through plenty of interviews, so I asked her to share the most unexpected or weird question that she'd ever been asked in an interview.

Professional Attire, Part 2

Last week, I talked about wearing slacks in a professional setting, but I realized I left out some crucial details like where one can find such items! If you are a college student like me, you are most likely shopping on a budget (because let's be real, paychecks tend to go towards mostly food and oh, more food).
